Tri-Valley High School is excited to announce the start-up of a brand new learning program called “The JA Company Program.” Tri-Valley has partnered will local business leaders to give TVHS students the chance to put ideas into action by creating and running their own startup. With the help of a student group and volunteer mentors, students will create, manage, and liquidate a business in 13 weeks. Any student at Tri-Valley High School can register for this free entrepreneurial after-school program. Know a Tri-Valley student interested in sparking their entrepreneurial spirit? Congratulations Speech Team members! 4 members attended the Olympia Tournament on Saturday with all placing! Emma Mast placed 5th in JV Informative speaking, Kaitlyn Jones and Anthony Decker placed 6th in Varsity Humorous Duet Acting and Molly Klessig placed 7th in Varsity Dramatic Interpretation. Fantastic start to the season!

The TVHS Key Club and National Honor Society will be trick or treating for UNICEF this Sunday from 1:00-3:00.

There is a Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 27, from 4-6 pm, at the Tri-Valley HS parking lot! All of the proceeds are going to the Fort Jesse Imaging Center to help pay for mammograms for women. During P/T Conferences, the TVHS Key Club is providing childcare on a donation basis between 12:45-8:00pm in classroom 179 at the high school. All donations will be gifted to Children’s Home and Aid in our area. You are welcome to drop off children prior to a scheduled conference to enjoy activities while you meet with a teacher. Congratulations to Sydney Haase, John Devine, Matthew Holloway, Lucas Burgard and Elijiah Johnson for being accepted to the 2019 ILMEA District #3 All-District Ensembles! John will perform in Jazz Band II on 11/2, Sydney, Matthew and Lucas will participate in the Concert Band and Elijah will participate in Choir on 11/16. Both festivals will be held on the campus of Olivet University in Bourbonnais, IL. They performed a very stringent audition and were one of approximately 75 other high schools participating.

TVHS NHS Coat Drive
The Tri-Valley High School National Honor Society will be collecting coats from October 21st-November 1st. Coats will be given to families in our district and anything left over will be taken to Home Sweet Home Mission and the Salvation Army. You may drop off new or gently used coats, hats, boots, gloves/mittens and scarves in the high school office. Please contact Shari Riley sriley@tri-valley3.org with any questions. The TVMS Book Fair is ready to rock this week! It is open Oct. 14-18 from 7:30-3:30 and Oct. 16 from 6:00-8:30 during the 5th-12th grade chorus concert.


Congratulations to the TVHS Band for their 3rd place finish at the very competitive Metamora Redbird Invitational. The band scored an 83.00 in 4A beating some much larger schools! Congratulations!!
