TECHNOLOGY

This website is committed to aiding Tri-Valley families with technology-related matters, concerns, and recommendations pertinent to your child's education from Little Viking School (LVS) through 12th grade. Our IT department is working hard to create an environment conducive to learning both at school and at home using our available technology. We kindly request your assistance in the home learning environment by supervising your child’s technology usage and reinforcing the basic principles of digital citizenship, which are regularly promoted through our Digital Citizenship here at school. Above all, consider establishing a designated "screen-free" period each evening.

If you are experiencing an issue with a device, don't hesitate to get in touch with us at our Chromebook Repair email address.

What is SOPPA?

SOPPA stands for the "Stop Online Piracy and Protect IP Act." It's a proposed legislation aimed at combating online piracy and protecting intellectual property rights. However, SOPPA is not a commonly used acronym for this purpose. Perhaps you meant COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act)? COPPA is a U.S. law that regulates how websites and online services collect, use, and disclose personal information from children under 13 years of age.
